Part and serial number
The part and serial numbers can be found on the nameplate of the governor or on the control.
Difference between part number and manual reference number
With help of parts illustrations drawing a part number can be found. However this is not the final part number to otder parts. An explanation of this that for example the cross reference number of the housing is listed but there are several different part number of the housing. Therefore and besides submitting the cross reference number we need always the part and serial number of the governor to investigate what the correct part number is.
Governor Maintenance
We advise to perform a complete governor overhaul between 20,000 and 25,000 running hours. Overhaul of the booster or remote servo's is also recommended.

Woodward manual hydraulic oil for hydraulical governors recommends will provide you with more details. With help of the oil chart you are able to determine the correct viscosity.
